Appealing SAP

A student placed on financial aid “Denied” status has the right to submit an appeal. Within two weeks from the time that final grades post for the current semester, all students are notified via MyCompton of their financial aid status. If you are notified that you have been placed on “Denied” status, you will be provided information on how to submit an appeal at this time.

If you’re placed in “Declined” or warning status, there is no need to make an appeal. You will receive one semester of financial aid, including the CCPG, with the requirement that you improve your academic performance to meet the minimum SAP standards.
