LMS - Accessing Online Course

Compton College uses the Canvas Learning Management System to deliver online and hybrid distance education courses.

To get started you will first need to log into Canvas. You can follow the written instructions on this page: http://www.compton.edu/academics/distance-ed

To get started:

• Log in to the MyCompton portal (www.compton.edu/mycompton) by clicking “MyCompton” in the upper right-hand corner of the compton.edu home page
• Select the “Canvas” tile to be taken to your Canvas dashboard
• Select your class from the Canvas dashboard list of your current semester courses

You can also log in via https://compton.instructure.com.
