Receiving 1098-T Tax Form

You may receive your 1098T via email or electronically. The 1098T is mailed to students in January for the previous year.

If you have not received your 1098T, the Admissions and Records Office may not have your correct address on file or they may not have your valid Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
To check if this is causing the delay, email admissions@compton.edu from your Compton College email account.

You can also access your 1098-T online by taking the following steps:

• Log in via MyCompton (www.compton.edu/mycompton)
• Click on the Student Services tile to go to your student profile
• On the bottom left, under additional links, click on “Tax Notifications”
• If you are eligible to receive a 1098-T form, your form will appear here. If you were not eligible to receive a form, a “No 1098-T form available to view” notification will appear instead
