Parking Permit

How to Get Parking Permit?

Parking Permit

A Compton College parking permit is required on any vehicle parked on any part of the campus year-round. Parking citations will be issued to vehicles failing to display a valid student parking permit. To avoid a citation, please display your self-adhesive permit in the inside lower-left corner of your windshield. (Parking Permit During COVID)

Semester parking permits cost $20 and can be purchased online via MyCompton or at the Bursar’s Office located at C-36. (http://www.compton.edu/studentservices/bursars.aspx)

Once your online order is received, you should receive your permit in the mail in 5-10 days. You can print a temporary permit that is valid for 10 days from the date of purchase. Be sure to print the temporary permit and display it in your vehicle until your semester parking permit arrives.

A one-week grace period for parking (in student lots only) will be provided at the beginning of the winter and summer terms, and two weeks for the spring and fall semesters.

If you’re just visiting the college for the day, there are daily permits also available for $3 at automated stations near the Administration and Math/Science buildings and parking lots F and H.

To find more information about parking passes, visit the Compton College website and click on “Parking Information” on the Campus Information page (Or direct link at: www.compton.edu/campusinformation/parkinginformation.aspx).
