Book Voucher

Book vouchers are available through the EOPS/CARE program (for up to $600).

Book vouchers can be used to purchase books on campus or online at www.comptonbookstore.com.

For students that do not have the excess financial aid to cover books, the Compton College offers the following resources:

• Book Rental/Borrow Program – The Compton College Bookstore allows students to rent a variety of textbooks rather than purchase them to help students cut down on costs. Books need to be returned at the end of the semester in good condition or students will be charged additional fees. Not all titles are available for rent though. Check with the Compton College Bookstore to see which of your current assigned reading materials are available through this program.

• Textbook Buyback/Used Books – Students can also sell back their purchased textbooks at the end of the semester (or when needed) and will receive up to 50% of the original purchase price, depending on the current market value and upcoming demand. Used books are also sold through this program for a fraction of the price they cost when new.
